I think both the DP and Director said it - "Okay Chris now what I want you to do is be a dolly, I don't like steadicam when it looks like steadicam, so you know just bee a dolly." Just imagine hearing this and then looking at your feet where the footing is 3 inches of crusty snow over ice.
This location was nothing but right angles and cool textures. We spent about a week here maximizing daylight by shooting the view when it was there.
