Hip-Waders

At the blind on Jarger Lake, Tetlin NWR, AK

I have two new favorite tools of the trade. One is the pair of hip waders I bought right before the last Tetlin trip that provided comfort while working in and around the swamps and lakes of the Refuge. I even used them as everyday footwear, a distinct look that says "I'm ready to get dirty!". The other new fave is the Canon 800mm ƒ5.6 L IS lens that I was able to use for the trip.
