Hip-Waders

At the blind on Jarger Lake, Tetlin NWR, AK

I have two new favorite tools of the trade. One is the pair of hip waders I bought right before the last Tetlin trip that provided comfort while working in and around the swamps and lakes of the Refuge. I even used them as everyday footwear, a distinct look that says "I'm ready to get dirty!". The other new fave is the Canon 800mm ƒ5.6 L IS lens that I was able to use for the trip. Laura the producer of the film caught some stills of me using these two most every day. All pictures of me by Laura Ganis.
