Between the Tetlin NWR Visitors Center and the trail to Hidden Lake a new trail system is in the works. Where the Seaton Roadhouse once stood is now the muddy beginnings of a parking lot where visitors can explore via a series of trails and even access a couple primitive tent camp sites. Before the highway was "realigned" the Seatons and their guests went through quite a bit of booze, budweiser, root beer and orange drink. Wish I could have stopped in for a cold one.
Honestly I was prepared to hang out for longer and keep taking photos but it started to sprinkle, then drizzle, then rain. I was glad I brought my raincoat so I could protect the video camera and not worry while I took these shots.
